WELCOME PARTY The welcome party will take place in the exhibition area of the Alfândega Congress Centre.
MONDAY, 25 MAY
Central de Cervejas is very pleased to support, through its main brand Sagres beer, the EBC congress in Porto. We will manage the leisure programme, late afternoon, Monday the 25th providing the participants and the accompanying persons with an exciting experience on the river Douro, a landscape considered World Heritage by the UNESCO in 2001. Participants will be invited to a sightseeing cruise to enjoy the old city of Porto with beautiful views of the city and the architecture of the bridges which connect two river banks. During the cruise our guests will have the opportunity to appreciate a crisp glass of our Sagres beer. A cocktail will also be served. More details soon..

BA Vidro was founded in 1912 in the north of Portugal with the Incorporation of the company ’Barbosa e Almeida’ (dedicated to the commercialization of bottles) by the partners Raul da Silva Barbosa and Domingos de Almeida. More than 100 years later, BA Group produces, develops and sells glass containers for food and beverage industries, with a daily production of more than 14 million units from seven factories in Portugal, Spain and Poland. The Avintes plant is one of the biggest of the group and is located near Oporto. It is structured – in terms of size, technology and auxiliary equipment – for 3 furnaces and the 11 production lines are specialized to satisfy the different needs of our customers. BA is currently a reference supplier to the main food & beverage industries, where it stands out due to the quality of its products and the ability to, together with the customers, find innovative and flexible solutions.
