Badges 
All participants, accompanying guests and exhibitors must wear their name badge when attending any congress or social event. 

Participants: No Strip
Organizers: Blue Strip
Teens: Gren Strip
Exhibitors: Red Strip

A replacement fee of EURO 5.00 will be charged for every lost or forgotten badge, no exception will be made. In order to facilitate the duplicate badge procedure, please present a registration confirmation letter or a copy of your onsite registration form as a proof of your registration.

Coffee breaks
Coffee will be served (Twice a day) at the area of the technical exhibition.

Collection of congress materials
Congress materials are available at the Reception Desk in the Registration Hall from 12:00 hrs onwards on May 11, 2004. Before this date and time, all desks will be closed and materials will not be given out. There will be no exception. Please bear in mind that in order to give you your materials, we must see a personal identification picture document (Passport, ID card or Driving Licence). Unfortunately, we cannot accept any other person collecting your materials on your behalf, even if they have written permission. Please also note that we do not accept name changes.

Facilities at the Centro Cultural de Belém
In the congress venue you are able to acquire books, cd´s, stationery material, art crafts, jewellery, wine, and several gifts. You can also find a hairdresser, a Photoshop and an Art Gallery.

Insurance / Liability
Participation in this Congress implies that persons/participants agree that the organizers do not assume any liability whatsoever. Upon registration, the participant accepts this proviso.

Language of the Congress
The official language of the Congress is English. Simultaneous translation will be provided for some presentations.

Lunch
For registered delegates, light lunch will be served at “Sala Camoy”

Programme changes
The organisers cannot assume liability for changes in the programme due to external or unforeseen circumstances.

Registration / Information
The registration and information desks are situated in the Reception Hall (first Floor) of the Centro Cutural de Belém The desks will be open at the following times:

Wednesday, May 11 12:00-18:30 hours
Thursday , May 12 08:00-18:30 hours
Friday, May 13 08:00-18:30 hours
Saturday, May 14 08:00-13:30 hours

Delegates
Regularly registered participants are entitled to attend all Scientific, Poster Sessions, Opening Ceremony, Welcome Cocktail and Industrial Exhibition. They will also receive a congress kit (including Abstract Book and Certificate of Attendance) as well as complimentary coffee and tea during coffee breaks.

Accompanying Guests
Registered accompanying persons are entitled to participate in the Opening Ceremony, Welcome Cocktail and to join the Lisbon City Tour on Friday Morning at 9h00.
Accompanying guest’s registration is accepted only in connection with delegate’s registration and does not entitle the guest to be admitted to any of the Congress scientific activities.

Payments will be accepted on site: Credit card (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard or American Express). We don’t accept Visa Electron or Diners card.

Receipts
Receipts of payment will be given on site.

Transport
Only participants that book their hotel accommodation through the Congress will be entitled to transportation from the Hotel to the Venue (early morning) and back to the hotel (at the end of the afternoon) – Details will be at the Hotels. Special tickets will be given to the participants.

Information for Speakers 
The Speaker Ready Room is located on the first floor of the Centro Cultural de Belém, near the Main Hall.
All presentations need to be prepared as PowerPoint files and will be loaded on a central server in the Speakers’ Ready Room. All speakers should bring their presentations stored on a CD-ROM or ZIP disc to this room no later than 2 hours before the start of their session. Please note that the use of own laptop computers and traditional slides will not be possible. 


Information regarding Poster Sessions

- Poster Session - 1 English Language
All Posters in English Language can be posted on Wednesday at Lunch time (Foyer Piano) and 
removed at the end of Thursday afternoon during the health break

- Poster Session - 2 Portuguese Language
All Posters in Portuguese Language can be posted on Thursday afternoon Health break (Foyer Piano) and removed at the end of Saturday Morning during the health break
