WELCOME RECEPTION

The Welcome Reception will take place in the “Centro Cultural de Belém” on Wednesday 18 June 2008 in the evening.

The Official Opening Ceremony, including the welcome speeches and some entertainment elements will be followed by the Welcome Reception in the Main Auditorium Foyer which is a great opportunity for the congress participants to network while enjoying cocktails and finger food.

CONGRESS DINNER

The Gala Evening is the highlight of the congress and is a special black tie event to mark the end of the VIth IACD World Congress. 

All participants will be invited to take part in this spectacular and unforgettable evening at a unique venue in Lisbon with exciting entertainment and can reserve their ticket when they register.

ACCOMPANYING PERSON´S WALKING TOUR

A walking tour that will take us to Belém quarter where we will start by visiting the Jerónimos Monastery, which was built with the money gained by the Portuguese with the spices commerce on the 16th century.

Afterwards is time for a panoramic tour of Belém Tower, the Monument of the Discoveries and the modern Cultural Centre of Belém. We could not leave without a guided tour to the Coach Museum.

At the final you will have some free time. This is your opportunity to go to the Pastéis de Belém Factor and taste the “Pastel de Belém”, cream custard pastries covered with cinnamon and powdered sugar, the most famous of all Lisbon.
