Abstracts Submission

Abstract Submission Instructions:

The Scientific Program Committee requests submissions in the following categories if research:

Investigation 
Vascular 
Lasers and Fillers 
Rejuvenation 
Conventional Surgery 
Cosmetics and Cosmeceuticals 
Hair and nails 
Other 

Abstracts must be submitted no later than April 10th 2008. 
You must upload your abstract online.

Guidelines for Abstract Submission:

1. Abstracts should be no longer than 275 words, excluding title

2. Previously papers may be submitted, if revised

3. Type the title in bold using upper and lower case.

4. Do not use abbreviations in the title or body of the abstract. Do not use tables or graphics in the abstract. All data must be in narrative form.

5. Abstracts should include four sections:
· objective of the study; 
· methods and procedures used in the study; 
· results of the study; and
· conclusions based on these results. 

6. Times Roman font is recommended. Minimum type size of 10 points may be used.

7. Submit conflict of interest statement with each abstract, if applicable.

8. Specify whether you prefer to give an oral presentation or poster presentation.

9. Abstracts which are not submitted by e-mail, do not comply with this format or are not received prior to the deadline date may not be considered for evaluation. 

Important Rules for Presentation

1. All persons whose papers are accepted by the Abstract Review Committee for presentation must be paid registrants and be present at the conference. In the event a substitute will take the place of the original presenter, Mundiconvenius must be notified at least 4 weeks prior to the meeting. 

2. Audiovisuals: Organization will provide the laptop for presentation

3. Presentation must be delivered and tested two hors before the session or the day before

4. Oral Communication will have 8 minutes for presentation plus 2 minutes for discussion. 
This is a category for clinical retrospective or prospective studies, a clinical series, or experimental studies with clinical results of a non-commercial nature.

5. Scientific Posters should be formatted for a display board. Posters for display should not exceed 120 cm high by 90 cm wide.
The purpose of these scientific displays is to provide summaries of findings or your clinical experiences, in poster format, of a non-commercial nature, which does not require the presence of the authorScientific 
The 12 final selected posters will be talked over in the poster area of the Congress Centre.

6. If your abstract is selected you will be notified by email to register for the Meeting. Additional email notification will also include A/V presentation and poster requirements. All workshop presenters must register for the conference and at least one poster author is required to register.


EVALUATION

Evaluation will be based on quality, clarity, innovation and relevance for the Conference, as well as the significance of the material, as judged by the Abstract Review Committee.
