TRANSPORTATION

 

From the Conference Hotels 

According to the schedule of the event the Portuguese Presidency has arranged special transfer services between the Conference Hotels and the Congress Venue.

Details will be displayed at the Hotels.

 

1 - ACCESS TO THE CONGRESS VENUE (C.C.B.)

From the City 
- Tram n. 15;
- Buses n. 714, 28, 751, 56
- Trains Cais do Sodré to Cascais stop at Alcantara Station or Belém Station

Please note: the Metro does not go to the Lisbon Congress Centre. However take the metro to Marquês de Pombal (blue and yellow lines) and then take either bus number, 32 or 49 or the tram 15 to the C.C.B..

From the Airport
Lisbon airport is close to the centre of the city (5 km north)
Participants may use either a bus or a taxi.
A taxi from the Lisbon Airport can take up to 45 minutes depending on traffic and will cost between €12 and €17.

It is recommended to have € Euros with you as taxis tend not to accept credit cards.

2 - ACCESS TO THE CONFERENCE HOTELS

From the Airport
Participants may use either a bus or a taxi.
Buses depart from the airport to the city every 20 minutes (07.00 - 21.00), and it takes approx. 10 minutes.

A taxi from the Lisbon Airport can take up to 10 minutes depending on traffic and will cost between €10 and €15.

From the City
The conference hotels located in Zone 2 (see hotels map) are in the city centre.
The best way is to take the underground service (metro) with 4 lines.

 

3 - ACCESS TO THE CITY CENTRE FROM THE AIRPORT

Lisbon Airport is close to the center of the city (5 km north)

TAXI
A taxi from the Lisbon Airport can take up to 30 minutes depending on traffic and will cost between €12 and €17.
It is recommended to have € Euros with you as taxis tend not to accept credit cards. 
Always ask for your receipt.

AEROBUS
The Aerobus depart from the airport to the city every 20 minutes from 07.45 a.m. to 08.45 p.m. and it takes approx. 10 minutes.
Each ticket costs 1.30€.
