Dear colleagues, dear ENTOG friends,

It’s a great pleasure to me to be able to invite you all to our ENTOG session during the European congress and of course to the European congress itself. It’s an honour for us, both ENTOG and PONTOG, (the Portuguese Network of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology), our Portuguese member organisation and the local organisers, to organise a complete session at the congress, a session which substitutes our own annual meeting this year.
Having it incorporated in the congress we hope to offer a session which is interesting for trainees and non trainees alike. We think a lively discussion will be guaranteed with the topic chosen: working condition across Europe.
Our session will be on the Wednesday morning as you can see in the program, so make sure to arrive in time in Lisbon!

Another ENTOG activity at the congress will be the poster-prize for the best poster with a trainee as a first author. We introduced this in Torino in 2006 and it was a big success. We hope this will be an encouragement for trainees to continue research and of course to send in posters. Please do indicate you’re a trainee to facilitate the selection process.

ENTOG strongly depends on the help of the local trainees in the organisation of both the exchange and the session in the congress. PONTOG has done a marvellous job and I take the opportunity here to give them many thanks!

To have this interesting congress in the lovely setting of Mediterranean Lisbon, on the edge of Europe is an opportunity you should not miss!
